  • Easytones

How convenient would it be to put on your pair of shoes in the morning and go to bed feeling like you had an all day leg workout? An easy workout for your legs, butt, and thighs. The price tag is reasonable for a nice pair of reeboks- $99-$129 depending on which style you choose.
I understand that these shoes are not going to be a cure-all and keep you from actually needing to do whatever your leg-workout routine is, but if they're comfortable shoes that will add a little edge to your steps. So what do you think? Would you try these shoes? Anyone who has them, what's the 'workout' like?

  • Accutane: Should I take the plunge?

My skin sucks. It has always sucked. My nickname in seventh grade given to me by the oh-so-sweet boys on my bus was pepperoni face because there wasn't a square centimeter on my face or neck that wasn't covered in disgusting red dots. That was almost ten years ago, and my face is STILL covered in acne, no matter what I do! I have tried any and every type of lotion available without prescription, and also Benzaclin and Clindamycin gel together for about a year.

Finally sick of being the only senior in college with acne, my family doctor referred me to a dermatologist, and I have an appointment in a couple weeks to see what we can do. When my mom was in college/my age she had the same issues and took Accutane, and has yet to have a major breakout that I constantly experience since then. I would like to try it, but I'm not sure what to expect and I'm also a little scared of the risks. I intend to ask the doctor before starting, but I am on Seasonique birth control and I absolutely will not risk pregnancy. So if anyone is on Accutane, how does it affect your BCP's? (Note: Yes I know it causes horrendous birth defects, I'm not concerned about pregnancy as much as period consistency.)

If you have tried Accutane, let's hear about your opinion on it and your experience.. Or if you have any solutions to keep your acne in check, what do you do?

  • Affordable makeover? What's that?

It's summer. I have way too much time on my hands. I wind up fantasizing about what clothes I would buy if I wasn't a poor college student wearing clothes that were in style 3-4 years ago as a high school student. I desperately need a closet makeover, but money is a serious issue.

I've been looking at celebrity outfits for some ideas, and my real inspiration is Selena Gomez. She incorporates bits and pieces of different trends into her outfits, making an extremely flattering and cute (in my opinion) outfit.
But I have no idea where to start. I'm looking for affordable places to buy separate pieces. I'm at a larger college, so I'm sick to death of buying outfits from places like American Eagle and/or Urban Outfitters only to see 99% of the other girls on campus sporting the same shirts and shoes.

So my question, Lovelyish readers, is how can a financially poor college girl make drastic changes into a new wardrobe without completely abandoning all of her old clothes? I can't afford to completely rake out the old clothes and replace everything, but I'm sick of looking like every other girl on campus.

Suggestions from every trend and fashionable possibility is wide open!!
